About

Hi, I'm Suhail. I'm the founder of FireCut, a lightning-fast AI video editor that works inside Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve: silence cutting, captions, zooms, chapters and much more, in a click.

Before FireCut

I worked as a management consultant in London, solving problems for companies in short, intense projects, the kind that start with "how do we double our revenue?". Before that I spent a year at Apple as a Product Design Engineer, between my Bachelor's and Master's degrees.

Things I've built

Alongside work I like building small tools: Echomail, email forwarding for long Gmail addresses; PrettySnap, for beautiful screenshots; Bullets to Table; a browser drum machine; and a few more. They're all on the Projects page.

What I write about

Building products, business and decision-making, psychology and productivity: the ideas that have changed how I work and live.
